Simple Curls With A Straightener

Being a trendy lady is easy by changing the look of your hair!

Curling hair is not an easy job. In addition, you also need a lot of specialized hairdressing tools to transform and have satisfactory curly hair. Even so, with just a straightener, you can also give yourself some stylish curly hair with these easy steps.

How to curl hair with a straightener?

You may be surprised by the simplicity of this curling technique. Firstly, take a small section of hair, clip, and pull the straightener down the hair as if you were straightening your hair usually. When you get to the part you want to curl, turn the straightener 180 degrees away from your face and gently pull down the rest of your hair. Do the same on the other curls. When you’re done, gently squeeze the roots of your hair with your hands to make your hairstyle look natural.

Curling hairstyles you can do with a straightener

The following simple steps will help you have bouncy and satisfactory curly hair. However, practice the curling technique with the straightener when turned off first to eliminate the risk of burns while curling your hair.

Natural ripples

From the hairline, shape with the straightener in a circular curve towards the outside. Depending on how much curl you want, you can stretch the straightener a little longer or shorter when creating waves.
Repeat this movement in the opposite direction to create an “S”
Continue until you are close to the ends, then pull the hair a little straighter.
Use your fingers to shake your hair and spray it with glue to keep it in place.

“C” wavy hair

Take a small section of hair and use your fingers to twist it evenly from root to tip.
Use clips to secure the wrapped hair.
Using a straightener adjusted to the right temperature, clip the wrapped hair for 4 seconds.
Repeat until the hairstyle is completed.
Use hairspray to keep the hair in place throughout the day.

Thicken with bouncy curls

Starting at a section of hair about 3cm from the hairline, clip and hold the straightener upright, slightly tilted away from the face.
Hold the hairline with your hands.
Gently pull and twist the straightener outward to the end.
Repeat this process 2 times for each curl to add more bounce or take more sections to make the curl look looser, depending on your preference.

Glamor with Hollywood curly hair

To have a Hollywood standard curly hair, you can repeat the simple wavy curling technique. Make the circular motion of the straightener wider and curvier at the ends.

Clip the straightener to a section of hair about 3cm wide.
To add curl to your hair, pull the straightener outwards
Turn the straightener a half-turn outward and gently pull down about 5cm.
A fraction of the way from where the first wave broke off forms a long “C”. Make sure the rounded edge is wider on the inner side, closer to your face
Repeat these steps along the length of your hair and finish with a rounded tail to complete this curl.
Use a wide-tooth comb or fingers to comb your hair. Apply serums and sprays to keep the hold and make your hair look shiny and trendy.
